Ervin & Ervin - Standard of Service

Our clients have a right to expect the highest level of professional service and client care in the State of Oklahoma. This includes an unconditional right:

  1. To be treated with respect, at all times.
  2. To be told the truth, at all times.
  3. To have their questions answered in a timely manner.
  4. To make informed decisions.
  5. To have their case handled with a sense of urgency and importance.
  6. To expect a superior degree of knowledge, experience and skill from every person who works on their case.
  7. To know and understand the economic, legal, and practical aspects of their case.
  8. To know their case will receive the resources necessary to win.
  9. To have their interest put before the interest of the lawyer or the law firm.
  10. To expect our best effort, without exception or excuse.

By meeting, or exceeding, these minimum service standards, on time, every time we create a level of service that is unmatched.  We are committed to our Clients and the practice of law, but it is the level of that commitment that sets us apart.

1. To be treated with respect, at all times.

This is such a basic concept it often goes overlooked, but respect is fundamental to building meaningful relationships.  Every member of our staff is required to treat others with respect.  This practice is reinforced on a daily basis.

Litigation can be stressful for everyone involved, but there is no excuse to be disrespectful, at any time.  Our mission requires that we work with our clients to achieve outstanding results under difficult circumstances.  This is only possible if we learn to value each other.

2. To be told the truth, at all times.

The truth matters.  Honest communication is essential to the attorney-client relationship, and honesty must go both ways.  Being truthful, with each other, demonstrates respect, even when the truth is inconvenient or embarrassing. Trust cannot be established without honesty.  If you want to be trusted, you must first be trustworthy.  This commitment is reinforced without exception at every level of our firm.

3.  To have their questions answered in a timely manner.

Being involved in an unfamiliar process can be stressful.  Our attorneys and staff understand that Clients will have questions at every stage of the case. This firm was designed to create a positive client experience.  We employ multiple technologies to make it easy for our clients to contact us, and to get the answers they need when they need them.  We limit the number of cases we accept to insure that our clients have the access, service and attention they deserve.

4.  To make informed decisions.

A person cannot make major decisions that affect their lives, without having all the relevant information.  Gathering the facts and evidence in a case, applying those facts to the applicable standards and law, preparing an evaluation of the case based upon our own knowledge and experience, and presenting that information to our clients in a way that they can fully understand, is a vital part of what we do.  Our clients are participants, not spectators in the preparation, evaluation and trial of their case.  Throughout this process, choices must be made.  Making sure that our clients have the information they need to make these decisions, and making sure they don’t have to make them alone, is important to us.

5.  To have their case handled with a sense of urgency and importance.

Commercial vehicle accident cases cannot be ignored.  Active effort by the attorney is fundamental in achieving the results our clients need.  Securing the information in your case is urgent, whether a lawyer recognizes it or not.  At Ervin & Ervin, Attorneys at Law, L.L.P. we are committed to treating our clients, and their cases, with the respect they deserve.  This includes limiting the number of cases we take to insure that each case gets the time and attention it deserves.  Further, approaching each task as if the outcome depends upon it, creates the level of urgency and importance our clients expect.

6.  To receive the highest levels of knowledge, experience and skill in the industry.

Attorneys are judged by their knowledge, experience and skill in handling cases.  Many lawyers claim to provide every service imaginable, from bankruptcy, divorce, and criminal defense to personal injury, including truck wrecks.  We are truck accident attorneys. We have a specific focus and a precise, disciplined approach to commercial vehicle accident cases.  Our resources, training and time are dedicated to this area of the law, that focus sets us apart from other attorneys.

7.  To understand the litigation process, including the economic and monetary aspects of their case.

The litigation process is unfamiliar to most people, and the catastrophic events that create these cases, don’t give them much time to figure things out.  “I need help” can be one of the most difficult things to say, and it doesn’t come easy for many Oklahomans.  Having a lawyer who will take the time to explain the case can make a significant difference, and can help the client processes a loss.  At Ervin & Ervin, Attorneys at Law, L.L.P. we are focused on the needs and expectations of the people we represent.  One of those critical needs is “understanding”.  It is also one of the needs most attorneys overlook.  Understanding the facts and circumstances of their case, empowers our clients and improves meaningful communication.  We also acknowledge that understanding is more than a need, it is a right.

8.  To know their case will receive the resources necessary to win.

Successfully prosecuting a truck or bus accident case takes time, money and effort.  We recognize that our clients deserve all three.  By limiting the number of cases we take, our firm is able to invest more time and attention in each case.  Being selective also allows us focus our financial resources and efforts in a more efficient way.  By following these simple principals, Ervin & Ervin, Attorneys at Law, L.L.P. can match or exceed the resources of much larger firms, and in the process, provide a more individualized experience for our clients.

9.  To have their interest put before the interest of the lawyer or the law firm.

At Ervin & Ervin, Attorneys at Law, L.L.P. our clients come first.  We are committed to giving the people we represent the best possible client experience.  As part of this commitment we understand that the interests of the client must always be put before the interest of the attorney or law firm. We have a fiduciary obligation to each and every client we serve, but we also care about the people we help.  Protecting the interests and welfare of our clients is important, but having them know we will put their interests first is fundamental.

10.  To expect our best effort, without excuses.

Our clients have one case.  One chance to see that justice is done.  One chance to make things right and to secure the financial resources they need to move on with their lives.  At Ervin and Ervin, Attorneys at Law, L.L.P., we understand the gravity of the moment.  Our clients depend on us.  Knowing what’s at stake for the people we represent, motivates us to give to give our very best.
